Police Officer Alex Arango

Police Officer Alex Arango died after contracting COVID-19 during a confirmed exposure when he responded to a domestic disturbance call in the 400 block of Andenwood Drive on September 28th, 2020. Officer Arango had served with the Everman Police Department for 27 years. He is survived by his wife, son, two daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and mother. In early 2020, thousands of law enforcement officers and other first responders throughout the country contracted COVID-19 during the worldwide pandemic due to requirements of their job. Many of these first responders died as a result of COVID-19.

Corporal Adam McMillan

Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, Ohio

EOW: Oct. 23, 2020 | Age: 42 | Tour: 19 Years

Corporal Adam McMillan succumbed to injuries sustained on October 8th, 2020, when his patrol car collided with a transit bus at the intersection of Eight Mile Road and Beechmont Avenue in Anderson Township. Corporal McMillan had served with the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office for 19 years and was assigned to the Traffic Safety Section.
