Our specialized product is provided by the Armed Forces Benefit Association (AFBA) — a non-profit member benefit association that was created in the basement of the Pentagon, and has covered our nation's Military for 75+ years. Coverage was extended to also include First Responders after the tragedy of 9/11. We are the “boots on the ground” and exclusive distribution channel now serving First Responders across more than 7,000 agencies and counting.
Anchored by a culture of practice & support, we extensively train our agents in every aspect of serving Fire, Police, and EMS personnel in an exclusive territory. *The $5,000 survivor benefit is paid when a line of duty death occurs. Line of duty is defined as AFBA members who are Emergency Service Providers to include law enforcement, firefighters, and emergency medical services providers who are killed while involved in operations at or responding to/from the scene of an incident. If death occurs otherwise, outside of a suicide, the beneficiary will receive a $2000 benefit.
